Couple of months ago I got myself a pair of brown Sanuk-Junebug shoes. They are referred to as "sidewalk surfers" on their website. I think they are very comfortable and much cuter than Vans. They mostly resemble TOMS in terms of texture. I've worn my Sanuk's a couple of times and I'm very satisfied with them. They are much more feminine compared to Vans and much lighter. They are like casual ballet flats that don't butcher your feet if you accidentally walk too much in them :).

I bought them for about $30 on Amazon when they had a sale going on. However, their price is between $40-$50 on both Amazon and their own website right now. You can wait to see if the prices go down or if you want some comfortable and cute shoes for the summer right away I think these shoes will do the trick.
